Die Lehrveranstaltung „VO Grundlagen Produktion und Logistik“ beschäftigt sich mit den grundlegenden Fragen der betrieblichen Unternehmensführung und gibt einen erweiterten Überblick über deren Kernbereiche: Produktentwicklung, Qualitätsmanagement, Prozessdesign, Standort- und Layout-Planung, Personaleinsatzplanung, Management der Lieferkette, Lagerhaltung sowie Produktions- und Transportplanung.

The course „VO Grundlagen Produktion und Logistik“ (“Fundamentals of Production and Logistics”) deals with the essential issues in operations management and gives an advanced summary of its core areas: product development, quality management, process design, location and layout strategies, human resource management, supply chain management, inventory management together with production and transportation planning.
